The awakening of Kundalini can lead to the release of stagnant energy through various spontaneous expressions known as Kriyas. These purifying actions occur at a deep cellular level within the body. Kriyas are involuntary movements initiated by the body to facilitate the flow of Kundalini energy, opening up regions for sustained flow. They can manifest as tremors, vibrations, muscular twitches, spontaneous yoga poses, or altered breathing patterns.
The body instinctively knows what actions are needed to clear blockages, even if it involves unconventional movements such as standing on the head, hyperventilating, or performing ancient African dances. The wisdom guiding this process draws upon the entirety of human history and the collective consciousness, embedding centuries of spiritual paths and rituals within our DNA.
The awakening of Kundalini can manifest in various ways, and individuals may experience different combinations of these manifestations. Each person’s journey is unique. Some common manifestations include:
1. Spontaneous movements: These movements, known as Kriyas, are involuntary and can range from tremors and vibrations to spontaneous yoga poses and altered breathing patterns. They help purify the body and facilitate the flow of Kundalini energy.
2. Release of stagnant energy: Kundalini can initiate the release of stored energy on a cellular level, leading to physical sensations such as twitches, crawling sensations, or shaking. These manifestations often signify the release of trauma or stress from the body.
3. Sensory experiences: Kundalini awakening can result in sensations of intense heat, cold, or electrical currents circulating through the body. Some may also experience spontaneous changes in breathing patterns (pranayama), mudras (hand gestures), or bandhas (body locks).
4. Visions and inner voices: As Kundalini bridges the gap between the conscious and subconscious mind, it can bring unresolved aspects of the psyche into consciousness. This can manifest as inner voices, visions, or heightened sensory experiences associated with different chakras.
5. Emotional releases: The awakening process may trigger emotional releases, such as laughing, crying, or screaming, as suppressed emotions come to the surface. It provides an opportunity for the resolution and healing of past emotional wounds.
6. Shifts in consciousness: Kundalini awakening can lead to profound shifts in consciousness, resulting in deep insights, realizations, and a sense of expanded awareness. It may bring about a wave of euphoria, a feeling of deep bliss, and universal love.
7. Unwanted or repressed feelings and memories: The surfacing of repressed emotions, thoughts, and past memories is common during the Kundalini awakening process. It allows for their acknowledgment, healing, and integration.
It is important to approach the Kundalini awakening process with surrender and allowing. Trying to control or interfere with the manifestations may hinder the natural flow of energy. By becoming a silent observer, one creates a space for Kundalini to express itself fully, leading to a more profound and transformative experience.
